The skies were clear, the air was crisp and cold, my breath formed heavy clouds of condensation that floated skyward as I watched the best lunar eclipse to come around in a while.

I agree. I haven’t gotten to see too many of these, but the virtually cloudless night gave us a spectacular show here in San Juan.
Would have missed it if you hadn’t told me about it.
