Galactic Cluster from Hubble

by Tony on February 9th, 2007

Earlier this week, the Hubble Heritage released an image taken with the Advanced Camera for Surveys (the one that died recently).

This image was assembled from images taken in January thru February 2006. It is an image of a galactic cluster in the constellation Centaurus, inspiringly known as Abell S0740.

The big blob in the middle is a elliptical galaxy called ESO 325-G004 (yeah, I know. Point that out on a date and see if it gets you laid).

This is what the Hubble ACS camera did best. It was an amazing camera.

A GREAT man once stated, “The cosmos WAS, The cosms IS and the cosmos will ALWAYS be” (Dr Carl Sagan, Cosmos t.v. show of the late 1980’s)
    This is just more proof

no we aren’t alone. God IS out there :)

    random chance cant create that.

    the universe
””””””””””””””””””””””’
    nonexistant? exists?
””””””””””””’
    beginning? no beg.
”””””””””””””””””’
    created? not created
”””””””””””””””’
    personal? impersonal

a little graph. hopefully it turns out in the comment, now..

starting from the top, we have the subject “the universe”

it obviously exists, so it obviously had a beginning right?

now, since it had a beginning, we can then infer that it was created, for, something that is not created, cannot begin.

and, since it was created, we can just look at the universe, and ask ourselves.

“is this a personal creation? or is this impersonal (random chance)”

i have found my conclusion to be personal, very personal. whats your conclusion?
