Astronomy Buff

It would be soooo easy to write a post about my New Year’s Blogging Resolutions, but I’m not gonna do it. Nope.

Keep posts short and write about five per day (yeah, right).
Write more about me (enough about me, what do YOU think of me?)
Have some contests and generally pander to my readers. (I do love you, you know…)
Write more about my new job at the University of Illinois. (lots of stuff there)
Make more video blog entries (Space Fans on YouTube are getting very restless).
Post more equipment reviews. Gives me a good reason to buy more astronomy hoo-hahs.

Damn. Some urges are too strong, even for contrarians.

Keep the long posts too, Tony… Tell us about your job at U of Illinois, that sounds interesting. And yes, we Space Fans are getting restless.

You should see Mars from down here - and Sirius has been kinda bright lately, too. Nice skies.

Thanks for commenting… I’ll do my best to get some vids out later this month. I am settling in to my new digs and will get started asap after that.

Good luck moving into your place - looking forward to your upcoming posts and new vids - you have a cool way of explaining things.

We’ve had a few cold, dry nights lately in San Juan, which have cleared a lot of the haze to nice crisp skies - best in quite a while; but alas, the rain returneth.
