Now, Don’t Go ‘NASA’ On Me!
Sorry, I couldn’t resist. This has been a bad week for NASA, lots of crazy, weird stuff being found out about our beloved space agency.
First, there was an astronaut wearing diapers, then we find out she wasn’t wearing diapers.
Now they have people running around cutting wires on space computers for a boondoggle space station no one wants.
It’s enough to drive a person to drink. Oh wait, that’s happening too.
I’m sorry, but this is getting a bit out of control. If it isn’t already, NASA is about to become a worldwide joke, and not a very funny one. You guys have heard by now about the contractor who cut some wires on a computer destined for the ISS, it turns out that the sabotage was in a relatively unimportant computer, but as the Bad Astronomer speculates, there could be more.
The BBC did a pretty good job of bringing it all together (and there’s video too!).
Remember the good old days, when only postal employees were in the news?
