Where you put the commas and the zeros….

…… makes a BIG difference!

It turns out that the German Whizkid boy was wrong about the probability of the Apophis asteroid colliding with Earth, and NOT Nasa.

Dwayne Brown, Nasa spokesman, says that the Near-Earth Object Program Office “has not changed its current estimates for the very low probability (1 in 45,000) of an Earth impact by the asteroid Apophis in 2036.”
